icente is a young adult struggling with identity and family tensions. After deciding to take his childhood play-rocketship to space, Vicente finds himself isolated from everyone and everything. On

his 21st birthday, he finally receives his first transmission from Earth, but is faced with new problems falling into orbit - most of which, concern his dog.

My mid-term for my Introduction to Narrative class, and the first film I made at film school. Everything was done entirely by me and filmed in quarantine. Set design created by me, consisting of tin foil and cardboard for a DIY-style look. Released during Filipino-American History Month, this film includes typical merienda and snippets of Kapampangan spoken by my Tita. Featuring my dog, Ollie.

Setup of a typical scene in the film. Spaces were usually very tight and it was troublesome to deal with cables and stands falling over.

Typical shoot set-up. Shot MOS so I could play music to set the vibe. Sound design was all in post.

Timelapse of putting up the set. Because of my family's schedules, I frequently found myself assembling and disassembling the set to move to other rooms.

Lighting test for the later section.

From when I tested how the cardboard wall would look taped to an actual wall, which later fell and busted this outlet. This is when I realized I needed a stand, or something close to one.
